Applications for level transmitters:

WIR / WFR series level transmitters are suitable for most industrial and commercial applications including:

  • Refinery and chemical industries
  • Energy and power plant technology
  • Feed water heaters or boilers
  • Oil and gas industries
  • Offshore exploration and drilling
  • Pipeline compressor applications

Features of level transmitters:

  • WIR process temperature ranges from -320oF to 600oF or -195oC to 315oC
  • WFR process temperature ranges from -300oF to 480oF or -184oC to 250oC (plastic up to 212oF or 100oC)
  • Cast aluminum epoxy coated housings
  • Optional digital display or units without digital display


Specifications for level transmitters:

Level transmitter models are available with reed chain or float reed chain configurations.  

With read chain model, WIR, the level transmitter is loop powered, providing an output for the magnetic level gauge. A variety of resolution options are vailable depending on the required accruacy. The WIR level transmitter, which is FM approved, mounts externally to the process and can be maintained without interruption.

The level transmitter model, WFR, is the float reed chain design. It is an all in one unit, which features and intergrate float.

The WFR level transmitter is for internal mounting. The 316 stainless steel version meets 3A approval.
