Lead the effort to drive Quality as a professional who understands the principals of product and service evaluation and control. Address quality issues by root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects / initiatives; integrate and be a leader within the organization in the implementation and follow up of different processes such as MRB, Continuous Improvement, Corrective Action, Process Capability Improvement and Process Control into the Quality Management System. This position will provide leadership, influence and direction for the company’s Supplier Quality activities. 

Quality Engineering Manager


• Provides strategic Quality direction to our suppliers and within WIKA.
• Drives investigation & corrective action process to resolve Quality issues (internal and external)
• Supports Continuous Improvement activities to ensure quality expectations are achieved including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Revises and Implements standard processes and procedures including applicable documentation.
• Conducts verification of process and procedure changes.
• Evaluates product and processes as needed. 
• Communicates and works with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve issues affecting product quality. 
• Manages Receiving Inspection, and Metrology
• Works with suppliers to ensure we are receiving quality product.
• Coordinates with Engineering and Production for root cause analysis
• Assists Engineering with validation of design and specification changes
• Suggests processes and equipment for focus of improvement opportunities. 
• Leads FMEA's, driving capability analysis on development and released product, initiating, participating and driving corrective action, analyzing measurable process indicators for process control
• Recommends modifications and improvements to enhance the products for quality, reliability, manufacturability as part of process control
• Assists in the development and delivery of specific Quality Training
• Performs ancillary duties as needed.


• Strong management/leadership skills with experience in dealing with multicultural personnel 
• Strong Communication Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (ME Preferred) 
• 5 to 7 years min experience in a manufacturing environment with technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment 
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills with understanding of GD&T on engineering drawings 
• Solid background in Quality Tools & Methods
• ISO 9001 Quality Management System knowledge. (AS 9100 a plus) 
• Understanding (theory and application) of Total Quality and Lean improvement methodologies. (Six sigma would be a plus)
• Strong attention to detail
• Team oriented individual 
• Some Domestic and International travel required
