The Campaign Strategist is responsible for the planning, creating and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that achieve demand/lead generation and awareness goals. Responsibilities involve messaging and strategy development, hands-on implementation, project management, and data analysis and reporting. This role will work closely with marketing and sales leadership, sales and marketing operations, product management and business analytics.

Campaign Strategist


  • Plans and implements effective multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate demand and awareness of products and services, including product launches, to support sales and customer retention

  • Conducts market, competitor and customer research to develop and vet messaging and value propositions that serve as the foundation for campaign creation

  • Leads content marketing initiatives (ebooks, infographics, case studies, blog posts, etc.) for assigned market segments and provides guidance on campaign-related SEO, SEA and social media efforts

  • Manage campaign calendar and collaborates with resources supporting content delivery, including creative resources, i.e. graphic design, outside agencies

  • Trains sales on campaign specifics and provides updates on campaign progress

  • Analyzes and reports on performance metrics of campaigns, and test and optimize campaigns on a regular basis

  • Compiles learnings and shares best practices across teams to help achieve the most effective marketing campaigns


    Develop/Implement Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to create marketing campaign strategies, including messaging and value propositions, to develop effective programs that generate qualified leads for sales


    Build Multi-Channel Campaigns: Strike the right balance of digital and off-line marketing tactics to achieve demand and lead generation objectives. Requires content strategy and creation to support the buyer journey


    Manage Campaign Execution, Reporting: Serve as lead on campaign execution for assigned market segments including: directing needed resources; ensuring timely completion of projects, and communicating campaign choreography, objectives, goals and results to key stakeholders 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in a demand/lead generation campaign management role

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Experience developing messaging and value propositions

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Ability to analyze and optimize campaigns

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms

  • Project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders and focus on the delivery of results

  • Collaborative approach with a track record of working with members of the marketing team, sales organization and product management

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to interface with people at all levels, including customers

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
