Erich Berninger joined WIKA Instrument Corporation (WIKA) over 30 years ago as a Tool and Die Apprentice and became Vice President of Supply Chain Execution in 2010. Berninger is responsible for overseeing inventory and ensuring cost efficiency to a specific quality and performance standard.
Berninger’s outlook for manufacturing is to incorporate lean activities into the daily process, to focus on producing quality products for customers and create a safe and satisfactory environment for employees. By cementing these standards WIKA will stay competitive, profitable and strengthen their number one position in the United States.
Berninger started working for WIKA in his teens as an apprentice and never had the desire to work for another company. He has worked for WIKA in Switzerland, Germany and the United States. Berninger reports to Klaus Gross, Chief Operating Officer and serves on the Steering Committee.
